During renovation we discovered the existing slab on one side of the ballroom had dropped over 2″ from the rest of the concrete. We took moisture tests (RH) and also discovered high moisture readings in this area. The solution was Moisture mitigation with Uzin PE-460 with sand broadcast and level this area with Uzin 170. We then capped the pour with Uzin 150 and brought the pour out to feather perfectly level with the rest of the concrete. We then were able to install a 3-color carpet tile by Shaw. The end results were the project stayed on schedule and the owner was so pleased with the end result that we are currently undertaking another ballroom for them now.
