For a Confidential Banking Client Executive Floors project, the scope involved the installation of hundreds of square yards of Tarkett carpet tiles and woven broadloom, and over 6000sf of wood flooring across multiple executive office levels, all within an exceptionally tight four-month schedule. The design team and general contractor aimed to completely gut and renovate these floors within this aggressive timeline—a challenge that required exceptional coordination and efficiency.
On top of the original accelerated schedule, other trades continued to encounter delays, and our schedule was continuously compressed. This pushed our team to innovate and adapt in real time. An additional challenge posed was the poor substrate uncovered during demolition and due to other trade activity, this required the use of large amounts of Uzin 886 to mitigate prior to flooring installation. Despite these obstacles, our team rose to the occasion, leveraging strategic planning, expert craftsmanship, multi-crew deployment, and seamless coordination with our GC partner to maintain progress without compromising quality.
Through precision execution, tireless dedication, and a solutions-driven approach, we delivered a flawless installation that met and exceeded client expectations. The Tarkett carpet and wood not only elevated the aesthetic of the space but also provided the durability and comfort essential for these high-profile executive areas—all achieved within the demanding timeframe. The flooring was paired with Johnsonite base, tying all design elements together for a seamless finish. This project is a testament to our team’s ability to navigate high-pressure environments and deliver excellence under the most challenging conditions.
