When it was time for the flooring to be installed, we were given a floor with three types of subfloor, concrete, gypcrete and plywood. The floor also had standing water and broken concrete througout. The conditions were horrible so we contacted our Schonox rep to assist us with coming up with a floor prep solution. He recommended Renotex, HS Sturdy and FP primer to fix the floor and then we went over it with 900 bags of Schonox AP Rapid self leveler(900 bags) and then finished it off with Schonox floor prep(400 bags). The change order for prepping the floor was $180,000 and Schonox provide a solution that would last and would be the most economical for the customer. Once we finished the floor prep, we installed Armstrong VCT and Shaow Carpet tile.
