Existing building was built in 1903, we encountered several layers of old flooring that was removed by the demo contractor. We worked closely with Uzin to have the demo contractor remove everything required at we were required to hit depths up to 5″ in most areas. The weight of the subfloor prep materials was a major concern. Working with the architect and Uzin we determined that Uzin LW144 was the ideal product for the situation considering depths and weight. The Uzin LW144 is their lightweight leveler that was a great choice for the job. We pumped over 2000 bags over an area consisting of 10,000 sf. We also used Uzin PE460 in the basement that was on grade with no moisture barrier present, so this also was a perfect choice to insure no future moisture issues.
