Working in partnership with DPR Construction and Orcutt Winslow Architects we were able to deliver this project to the hospital with virtually no punch. We self leveled the project using Schonox ZM Leveler to achieve a superior working surface. During initial installation our crew determined the material had some defects most likely caused during shipping. This obviously created a strain on the project schedule. Tarkett had an immediate site visit, secured replacement material and shipped new product. We worked with the GC and the Architect on site to finalize layout of patterns and intricacy needed to complete the installation. We used 10 of our in house installers to escalate the installation once new material arrived to our warehouse to get back on the clients escalated schedule. Once the project was back on track we were able to deliver a great finished product with great communication between all parties involved.

With 40+ years’ experience working with luminaries in the architecture world, including Michael Graves, Robert A.M. Stern, and Rockwell Group, where she served as a studio leader, Thiel’s extensive portfolio includes single-family homes and multi-story residences, hotels, restaurants, retail, fitness clubs, offices, theaters, schools and shopping centers. She is a member of the AIA, holds NCARB certification and is a LEED accredited professional. Prior to her career in architecture, Thiel was a dancer and choreographer.
