We recently completed a new construction project for a school that had been damaged beyond repair after a local flood. The project involved installing new flooring throughout the building and we were able to add a personalized touch by incorporating the school’s logo into the design.
Our team of experienced professionals worked closely with the school to understand their vision and create a plan that met their specific needs. We used high-quality materials to ensure that the new flooring would be durable and long-lasting. The flooring not only provided great visual appeal, but also helped to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for the students and staff.
One of the unique features of this project was the creative and personalized flooring design, which featured the school’s logo. This added a special touch to the building and helped to create a sense of pride and belonging for the school community.
The project was completed on time and within budget and the school was extremely satisfied with the final result. We were proud to have been a part of this project and to have helped to rebuild a community that had been devastated by a historic flood.

With 40+ years’ experience working with luminaries in the architecture world, including Michael Graves, Robert A.M. Stern, and Rockwell Group, where she served as a studio leader, Thiel’s extensive portfolio includes single-family homes and multi-story residences, hotels, restaurants, retail, fitness clubs, offices, theaters, schools and shopping centers. She is a member of the AIA, holds NCARB certification and is a LEED accredited professional. Prior to her career in architecture, Thiel was a dancer and choreographer.

In 2022, the firm received a Connecticut AIA Excellence award for Interior Architecture. Thiel earned a BA from Penn State University and her Master of Architecture degree from Syracuse University.
