The client’s overarching vision was to craft a cohesive and visually captivating environment, ensuring smooth transitions between different flooring materials to maintain both aesthetic continuity and functional integrity. Schluter transitions emerged as the optimal solution for meeting this challenge head-on. Their innovative design and precise engineering enabled us to seamlessly integrate various materials, including tile, LVT, polished concrete, and carpet tile, across the entirety of the space. Notably, Schluter transitions boast durability, ease of installation, and versatility across a range of sizes and applications, effectively mitigating tripping hazards while maintaining visual and structural cohesion. The stone-gray hue of the transitions, employed across different applications, served as a neutral backdrop, effortlessly harmonizing with the surrounding flooring materials and elevating the overall aesthetic impact of the renovation.

To achieve this vision, they partnered with HOK Atlanta, renowned for its creative design expertise. The resulting remodel embodies ultra-modern aesthetics, fostering creativity, collaboration, and well-being among employees. Shaw Contract’s Abide Coriander Oak lvt and a mix of carpet tile selections lend a modern and durable flooring solution for the space, combining style with practicality. The mixture of Shaw’s Translate, Flat Weave and Familiar carpet styles selected for the corridors, collaborative spaces and focus areas provide comfort, acoustic benefits, and sleek design versatility. While the Beyond Broadloom selection was creatively used as an are rug over polished concrete, adding warmth and sophistication to the dynamic bar and café areas. Tarkett’s straight and cove base, in color coil, complements all flooring materials providing a cohesive and visually appealing finish throughout the space. The design employs a mix of flooring materials, styles and colors to delineate different zones, enhancing wayfinding and creating visual interest. This innovative approach not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also improves functionality and navigation within the space.
