We did the Carpet, Resilient, Weight Room Flooring, and Ceramic Tile for this new High School for one of our oldest General Contractor customers: Pogue Construction of McKinney, Texas. The duration for our work scopes stretched for 16 months with substantial completion in August 2020. This project included several Fuse Suppliers’ products, including Armstrong D10 VCT, Altro Classic 25, Johnsonite Wall Base, Treads & Transitions, American Olean Tile, Dal-Tile Suretread, and Schonox SL (667 bags!). Other non-Fuse products included Milliken Carpet, Zandur Joel Hill Cork Flooring, Emil Ceramic, Interceramic, Cathedral Ceramic, Schluter, Laticrete, and Mondo Sports Flooring.

Carpet/Resilient was 297,000 SF and Ceramic Floor & Wall was 278,769 SF. This beautiful facility represents one of the largest ceramic tile jobs that One Source has completed to date. The ceramic is breathtaking and extensive in common areas and corridors. We believe that the K-12 facility has to represent the School District’s 'brand' as they compete for students with many choices for their education.

From the Huckabee Architects website, "The architectural character of Rock Hill High School takes on a collegiate aesthetic that’s in line with the district’s other high school. It features modern and flexible classrooms, labs, and collaborative learning spaces, as well as areas for career and technology-focused programs. Athletic and fine art amenities include a 1,000-seat performance hall, a competition arena, and an indoor practice facility. Outdoor courtyards and ample daylighting support the collegiate feel. A learning commons incorporates a student union, dining, and library/media lab. Administrative offices and teacher planning space are dispersed throughout the facility to support small learning communities."
