SMU Weber End Zone Project

This was a very high profile job that would solidify One Source as the very best at what we do. Specializing in K-12 and higher education, we knew this our chance to showcase our work and the incredible talents of our installation partners. We had over 25 different manufacturers represented from all over the world. With over 4000 square yards of carpet, 13,500 lineal feet of resilient base, 45,000 square feet of floor, wall and ceiling tile; this project was very complex and we had very little time to get this done. Kickoff was only a few months away and SMU was now making their debut in the ACC. The pressure was on the entire team to deliver a finished product that would make the client proud. We had multiple delays in the delivery of the materials and had to adjust by increasing man power for both the tile and resilient portion of the project. Three different floors, 50 different trades and over 200 individuals working together daily made conditions of the project less than ideal. On 8/23/24, the project was turned over to the client, just in time for the start of one of the most successful football seasons in the history of SMU. An 11-3 record and a birth in the College Football Playoff. We feel as though we played a part in the success of the SMU Mustang season by delivering a product that far exceeded the university's expectations.
