The flooring in this modern and stylish lobby and café enhances the sleek and inviting ambiance of the space. Curated with an exquisite selection of over 28 distinct materials, this project showcases a harmonious blend of craftsmanship and design sophistication. Hand-painted tiles adorn the backsplash in various areas, adding artistic character and depth. Intricately crafted imported tiles were meticulously installed on select furniture pieces, enhancing their elegance and uniqueness. In the lobby, luxurious Calacatta slabs serve as a striking focal point. Later in the project, the designer expanded the scope to include a staircase; however, the required materials had lead times that were not feasible within the project's timeline. To mitigate delays and uphold the design intent, we collaborated with a specialized fabrication company to custom manufacture the stair treads directly onto the tile, meticulously adhering to the designer’s specifications while ensuring a seamless integration with the overall aesthetic. The thoughtfully curated and versatile application of these diverse materials creates a visually captivating and cohesive aesthetic throughout the space.
